The Tony Awards Administration Committee will present the 2022 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre to five outstanding contributors to the Broadway industry - the Asian American Performers Action Coalition (AAPAC); Broadway For All; music copyist, Emily Grishman; Feinstein's/54 Below and United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, IATSE.

This past Friday, New York Mayor Eric Adams announced that the city will end its Key to NYC program on Monday, which required patrons aged 5 or older to show proof of full vaccination to attend indoor theater and concert venues. However, the Broadway League has confirmed that its current rules will stay in place through April 30, 2022 as previously announced.
