Broadway gets an upgrade as Be More Chill arrives tonight at the Lyceum Theatre! The official opening night is Sunday evening, March 10.

Be More Chill arrives on Broadway this week. Performances start at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) this Wednesday, February 13 at 8PM.

Ghostlight Records has announced that The Jonathan Larson Project is now available for pre-order and is scheduled for release in physical, digital, and streaming formats on Friday, April 5. Customers who pre-order the digital album will immediately receive a download of the first single, 'Greene Street.' The album features the music of the late Jonathan Larson, the generation-defining writer of Rent and tick, tick… BOOM!, the former an iconic Broadway landmark and the latter a beloved musical gem. The Jonathan Larson Project is an evening of Jonathan's unheard work featuring songs from never-produced shows like 1984 and Superbia; songs that were cut from Rent and tick, tick… BOOM!; songs written for both theatrical revues and for the radio; songs about politics, love and New York City; including many never before publicly performed or recorded. Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater have announced the release of BE MORE CHILL Karaoke (Original Cast Recording) to celebrate the Broadway-bound musical sensation, available today, Tuesday, January 22. The EP's seven tracks - based on the show's Original Cast Recording - include fan favorites 'More Than Survive,' 'I Love Play Rehearsal,' 'The Squip Song,' 'Two-Player Game,' 'A Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into,' 'Michael in the Bathroom,' and 'The Pitiful Children.'

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of "Loser Geek Whatever" - the brand-new single from the Broadway-bound musical sensation BE MORE CHILL - performed by its acclaimed star, Will Roland. "Loser Geek Whatever" was written for the recent Off Broadway production and proved to be a popular fan favorite and the show's breakout showstopper.

Ghostlight Records and Two River Theater will celebrate the vinyl edition of the BE MORE CHILL Original Cast Recording with an exclusive in-store signing and performance at Barnes & Noble on Thursday, December 6 at 7:00 PM. The event will include original cast members featured on the 2015 Two River Theater cast recording: Gerard Canonico, Katlyn Carlson, Stephanie Hsu, Lauren Marcus, and George Salazar. Along with Joe Iconis, who wrote the music and lyrics, they will perform musical selections and sign albums.

The album will be based on a concert originally presented at Feinstein's/54 Below, directed and conceived by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, and featuring music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Charlie Rosen. The show features the music of the late composer Jonathan Larson, who wrote Rent and tick tick BOOM, the former an iconic Broadway landmark and the latter a beloved musical gem. The Jonathan Larson Project is an evening of Jonathan's unheard work featuring songs from never-produced shows like 1984 and Superbia; songs that were cut from Rent and tick tick BOOM; songs written for theatrical revues and songs written for the radio; songs about politics and love and New York City; songs never before publicly performed or recorded. The album will be produced by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, Charlie Rosen and Kurt Deutsch.

Dramatists Play Service will celebrate the publication of the new musical 'Who's Your Baghdaddy, or how i started the iraq war' with an event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at Drama Book Shop, 250 W. 40th St.

Just in from Deadline, Shawn Levy's 21 Laps and Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions companies have been chosen as the producers for a future movie adaption of the Broadway-bound Be More Chill. No timetable has yet been set, and now that producers have been found, the hunt will be on for a film studio.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed new musical Midnight at The Never Get, with book, music, and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Sam Bolen, by arrangement with Visceral Entertainment and Mark Cortale Productions.  Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast will feature Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J.
