Be More Chill: Original Broadway Cast Recording will be released for digital download and streaming on Friday, May 3. This new album completes a remarkable full-circle journey for Be More Chill, as the original recording from Ghostlight (which has now been streamed over 300 million times to date) helped propel the show from Two River Theater to a viral Broadway hit. CD and vinyl releases are planned for later this year. Starting today, Friday, April 26, customers who pre-order the digital album will immediately receive a download of the single "More Than Survive." The album is produced by Kurt Deutsch, Joe Iconis, and Charlie Rosen, and co-produced by Ian Kagey and Emily Marshall. Surprise Special Guests Announced This Week At IS ANYONE ALIVE OUT THERE?

Audible Inc., the world's largest producer and provider of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment, will begin performances this week of Is Anyone Alive Out There?, an original comedy musical at the Minetta Lane Theatre, which will also be recorded live for release as an Audible Original. The post-apocalyptic-set farce will run for four nights from March 21-24 at the company's creative home for live performances in New York. Each of the four performances will feature a surprise special guest appearance from either Chris Gethard (The Chris Gethard Show), Gilbert Gottfried (Gilbert), or Helene Yorke (The Other Two).

Be More Chill officially began its Broadway run last week, and while the show is already celebrating an exciting milestone, conflict as has arisen between the show and Local 802, the union for professional musicians. Orchestrator Charlie Rosen just took to Facebook to explain why the union has prevented him from performing in the pit as Guitar 2 & Ukulele. He writes:
