Disney Theatrical Productions, under the direction of Thomas Schumacher, and Broadway In Detroit announced today that tickets for the Detroit return engagement of Disney’s Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Friday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of SOME LIKE IT HOT will be recorded this month and released March 24 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide, with physical release to follow.

The 61st season of Free Shakespeare in the Park at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park will feature the classic drama HAMLET, directed by Tony Award winner Kenny Leon and featuring Tony Award nominee Ato Blankson-Wood (Slave Play, Public Works’ As You Like It) in the title role.

The cast of Some Like it Hot will perform on Late Night with Seth Meyer. Recently, Christian Borle and J. Harrison Ghee perform 'You Can't Have Me' from the hit musical on Good Morning America. After a pandemic enforced break, the North American tour of Mean Girls finally lands in Los Angeles at the Pantages January 4, 2023. Lawrence E. Street reprises his role of Mr. Rick Duvall from beginnings of the 2019 national tour.

A whole new world just in time for a whole new year…DISNEY'S ALADDIN will make its anticipated Mami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from January 3-8, 2023. ALADDIN, adapted from the animated Disney film and centuries-old folktales including “One Thousand and One Nights,” is brought to fresh theatrical life in this bold new musical.

Mariah Carey has a special cameo in the new Broadway musical, Some Like It Hot! The popstar, who was revealed to be a producer on the musical, also recorded the pre-show announcement, which plays for the audience before every show. Check out a video here!
