Actor's Express will present WIT, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Margaret Edson, directed by Freddie Ashley and starring Carolyn Cook, as part of the theater's 38th season in Atlanta.

Happenstance Theater will present PLAYDATE: COVEN EDITION at Prince George’s Publick Playhouse in Maryland. The devised performance features an ensemble of artists creating original work inspired by themes of play and connection.

Horizon Theatre Company will present an encore run of I CARRY YOUR HEART WITH ME by Jennifer Blackmer, starring Carolyn Cook. The solo play returns to Atlanta before touring to Savannah Repertory Theatre.

​Savannah Repertory Theatre will present I Carry Your Heart With Me, by Jennifer Blackmer. Set during the Vietnam War, the story follows Esther Shannon, a young U.S. Air Force stenographer transcribing the testimonies of returning prisoners of war.

Synchronicity Theatre will close out its 2024–2025 season with the U.S. premiere of The Dark Lady, a music-infused theatrical exploration of identity, authorship, and legacy, running June 13–29, 2025.

This powerful and captivating solo play, starring veteran Atlanta actor Carolyn Cook, takes the audience on a journey into a challenging and difficult time in American history through the eyes (and memories) of a woman who has an encounter during a formative year in her life that changes everything for her.
