Former US Vice President Al Gore will host a one-hour special broadcast of The Climate Reality Project's 24 Hours of Reality: Protect Our Planet, Protect Ourselves, which will explore how the climate crisis threatens human health worldwide. The special will premiere on Nat Geo WILD on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 7 PM ET.

 The 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) announced that the festival's opening night will be the screening of All is True directed by Kenneth Branagh on Friday, January 4.  The festival will close with Ladies in Black, directed by Bruce Beresford on Sunday, January 13. The Festival will screen 223 films from 78 countries, including 48 premieres (4 World, 13 North American and 31 U.S.) from January 3-14, 2019.  The line-up includes a focus on cinema from France, India and Mexico, Premieres, Talking Pictures, Book to Screen, Special Presentations, FLOS: Foreign Language Oscar Submissions, Gay!La, Local Spotlight, Modern Masters, True Stories, World Cinema Now, a 30-film retrospective of selections from past festivals (free screenings sponsored by Desert Care Network and National Endowment for the Arts), and more.

In the latest installment of Stephen Colbert's feature, 'Kid's Pitch,' the TV host let the children brainstorm ideas for a new Christmas film. The fake movie features a slew of familiar faces, including Bryan Cranston, Laura Linney, Nick Kroll, Rachel Dratch, and John Oliver.

Berkshire Theatre Group (Kate Maguire, Artistic Director/CEO) in association with five-time Tony Award-winning Caiola Productions (Once on this Island, Dear Evan Hansen, The Color Purple, All The Way, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf) presents Rock and Roll Man: The Alan Freed Story, directed by Tony Award-nominee Randal Myler (It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues) at The Colonial Theatre as part of their 2019 Summer Season. The production is in development for a Broadway run and a national tour.

Multiple SAG Award and Emmy® winner Megan Mullally (Will & Grace, Why Him?) will light up the stage as host of the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, Executive Producer Kathy Connell announced today. The show will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).

The hit drama adaptation NETWORK has been picked up for an extension on Broadway. The production will now play performances through Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Belasco Theatre.

Bryan Cranston was a guest on last night's episode of 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' During the interview, he told Colbert how current role as Howard Beale in the Broadway rendition of 'Network' is teaching him something about feeling 'mad as hell.'
