Ivoryton Playhouse will launch its 2026 season the comedy I'm Connecticut by Emmy-winning writer Mike Reiss (The Simpsons), opening March 27 and running through April 19.

Ivoryton Playhouse will open its 2026 season with I’M CONNECTICUT, a new comedy by Emmy-winning writer Mike Reiss. The production will run in Ivoryton, CT this spring. The play follows a Connecticut scientist navigating love and identity in New York City.

Coming next month is the off-Broadway premiere of Just Another Day, a play by Dan Lauria about wonderful old friends who may not even know each other, but who relive and celebrate a life together…maybe. A limited engagement (through June 30), previews begin on Friday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. with an official opening on Sunday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at off-Broadway's Theater555.

The first live standings have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards! Nominations were reader-submitted and now our readers get to vote for their favorites.

Come experience the life, laughter and love of George Burns and Gracie Allen. This uproarious and enthralling play features longtime Playhouse favorite R. Bruce Connelly* in a tour de force performance as the beloved comedian. 

Opening on Wednesday, May 22 and running through June 16, Ivoryton Playhouse presents the beautiful and uplifting musical, GODSPELL.  GODSPELL began as John Michael Tebelak's master thesis at Carnegie Mellon University with lyrics taken directly from the Episcopal Hymnal. Stephen Schwartz, also from Carnegie Mellon, was hired to write a new score, adding original songs to the modernized hymns.
