Without You, written and performed by Anthony Rapp, directed by Steven Maler with musical direction by Daniel A. Weiss opened just last night, January 25, 2023 at New World Stages. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos below!

The film will be presented from Saturday, August 20 to Thursday, August 25 in the King Auditorium at The Park Theatre in Jaffrey. The feature film has not been presented publicly since its debut on PBS Great Performances on November 9, 1981.

Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.

CSC will host a one-night-only benefit staged reading of Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare, directed by Founding Artistic Director Steven Maler. This production will feature Christian Coulson (Harry Potter, The Hours, Mozart in the Jungle, Nashville) as Angelo and features a dynamic cast of the area’s extraordinary talent. 

More celebrity guests have been added to Stars in the House For Ukraine – the 10-hour telethon to raise money and awareness for those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. Hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, the show will air live on Saturday, March 26th from 12:00pm ET – 10:00pm ET.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored the great Chit Rivera at its 2022 Gala 'Paint the Town' at the Ziegfield Ballroom in New York City. The evening celebrated Ms. Rivera's contribution to the theater and include the presentation of The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

The one-hour event is hosted by Lewis Black and features readings by Brooke Adams, Ato Blankson-Wood, Rachel Brosnahan, Juliana Canfield, Kemiyondo Coutinho, Melissa Fumero, Kathryn Hahn, Sunita Mani, Andrea Martin, Denis O’Hare, Matthew Rhys, Tony Shalhoub, Haaz Sleiman, Lois Smith, and Meryl Streep.

The event will feature just-added performances & appearances from Tiffany Haddish, Usher, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Charlamagne Tha God, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Susan Sarandon & Pete Buttigieg.

Belafonte started the organization in 2005 after witnessing a news report of a 5-year-old Black girl being handcuffed and arrested in her Florida classroom for “being unruly.” The organization’s mission is to build a movement to end child incarceration while working to eliminate the racial inequities that permeate the justice system.

Since 1978, West Bank Cafe has been one of the epicenters of New York City’s theatre community, and due to the pandemic, it is on the verge of permanently closing. With Broadway dark, tourism down, indoor dining closed, and no relief plan in sight, 2020 has created a plethora of financial problems for the beloved theater district institution.
