Walking into one of the small, black box theater spaces at MATCH, all I knew was that I was about to watch a brand-new sketch musical about Drs. Percy Hinks and Adelaide Hibble attempt to discover a formula that reveals 'the mysterious love code'. I was not ready for the chaos that was about to ensue, leading to quite a fun show!

Paul Hope is famed for bringing the Great American Songbook to Houston, previously by BAYOU CITY CONCERT MUSICALS. He is back in a new capacity to continue the popular cabaret series in Rice Village at the intimate Ovations Night Club. 

CABARET and Theater West End are a match made in the heavens of art direction, so much so that it’s nearly a wonder they hadn’t staged it here til now. The plexiglass partitions even hint at the giant mirror that faced this show’s earliest audiences on Broadway — I caught reflections from performers and patrons on several occasions (including my own) and smiled in appreciation of the unintended nod.

Main Street Theater brings the warmth and joy of Laura Ingalls Wilder to the stage in A Little House Christmas. Performances will be held at MST's MATCH location, 3400 Main St., Houston, TX  77002:

So it is with NEWSIES, the opening production of The Henegar Center’s 31st season, which brings the classic Disney musical to vivid life in Melbourne with an exciting and highly polished production that shares the story of how a few young men 'seized the day' and made a real impact.

PAUL HOPE is bringing the Great American Songbook back to the HOUSTON ARTS SCENE with THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC- THE 40S SONGS OF HAROLD ARLEN at OVATIONS NIGHT CLUB, located at 2536 Times Blvd Houston, TX 77005, on MONDAYS FEBRUARY 17 THROUGH MARCH 2, 2020. Performances will be Mondays at 7:30CST (1930).

Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) opened Miracle In Bedford Falls to the public last weekend, delighting family audiences and welcoming in the holiday season. The musical based on the Frank Capra film a?oeIt's A Wonderful Lifea?? is written by Mark Cabaniss with music and lyrics by Lowell Alexander. This production runs through December 29, and is funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program with Directing Sponsorship from Frank Santos and Dan Dantin.

Mad Cow Theatre is thrilled to announce the cast and creative team of George S. Kaufman & Edna Ferber's classic comedy, The Royal Family which will take the Harriett stage Sept. 21- Oct. 14, 2018 as the first production of Mad Cow Theatre's Season 22.

Obsidian Theater ushers in Halloween with the campy, bloody musical, Evil Dead: The Musical. This outrageously, wicked musical runs September 27 - October 27 and will include two late night shows with blood splash zone and an after-show Halloween party.

It's been more than 50 years since Mrs. Robinson seduced Benjamin Braddock-as well as film audiences-in Mike Nichols' cinematic classic, The Graduate. This summer, Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. pays homage to this iconic picture by incorporating film into its production of the play.

The Garden Theatre begins performances this week of its highly anticipated historical drama, A Tennessee Walk. Presented March 16 - 31, 2018 the award-winning play by Garden Theatre's artistic director Rob Winn Anderson shines new light on a seldom-told, true story of a circus elephant that was executed by a hysterical public.

Winner of four Tony Awards, three Drama Desk Awards and three Outer Circle Critic Awards, the 1998 revival of Cabaret is the first musical of the Obsidian Theater's 2018 season. Come forget all of your troubles at the Kit Kat Club, April 12 - May 5, 2018.

Children and adults alike love the book Holes, the now-iconic movie of Holes, and the play.
