The Country Music Association's new international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, will join the C2C lineup in Berlin and Amsterdam. Lindsay Ell, Lauren Jenkins and Logan Mize will open the first C2C Berlin at the Verti Arena Berlin with a mainstage performance on Saturday, March 2 and follow up with a performance as part of C2C Amsterdam at AFAS Amsterdam on Monday, March 4. Following the stops in Germany and the Netherlands, a second Introducing Nashville lineup will visit multiple cities in Australia, as well as Auckland, New Zealand and Tokyo, Japan. NBC has named comedian Mike E. Winfield as the winner of its 15th annual StandUp NBC competition, the network's annual nationwide search for comedians of diverse backgrounds. Winfield has been awarded a talent holding deal with NBCUniversal and a headlining spot at the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) annual convention where he will perform for talent bookers from across the country. He will also headline the regional semi-finalist showcases for the 2019 StandUp NBC competition.

At the annual Wheeling Jamboree Christmas show, headliner Tim Atwood was surprised during his performance with a very special invitation. An invitation to become an official member of The Wheeling Jamboree, one of the last remaining country music shows of its kind, second only to The Grand Ole Opry.
