Iconic entertainer Reba McEntire will return for a second year as host of the ninth annual “CMA Country Christmas,” the two-hour music celebration that airs on ABC during the holiday season. Marking her third time performing on the show, a lineup of legendary acts and Country favorites will also take the stage for a night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations. 

The Country Music Association's critically acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank announces a performance at The Heights Theater in Houston Monday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 PM featuring Josh Kerr, Maddie & Tae and Jon Nite. Maddie & Tae's Maddie Marlow (from Sugarland, TX) and Tae Dye have a strong connection to Texas, with the two first meeting during a music showcase in Dallas prior to becoming a Platinum-selling duo, while Nite was born in Amarillo, TX. Country Music superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return to host 'The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,' Country Music's Biggest Night, live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, WEDNESDAY, NOV. 14 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network. The beloved hosts return for the 11th time.

General entertainment television network INSP has set the premiere date for the third season of its popular original culinary-travel series State Plate.  The new season will bow on Monday, September 24th in a new timeslot: 12:00PM ET.  Hosted by former American Idol winner, musician, and restauranteur Taylor Hicks, State Plate takes viewers on a tour of the most iconic foods across the country.  The announcement was made by Doug Butts, SVP of Programming for INSP.

The second annual Dance Party to End Alz was held on Sunday, June 3 at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. Hosted by Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Blair Garner, the sold-out event raised more than $340,000 for Alzheimer's Association care, support and research programs.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra hosts its 2018 Spring into Music Gala on Saturday, April 14, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
