The theater community rallied together once again with spirited skits, dynamic dance and brilliant bonnets as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Easter Bonnet Competition returned April 24 and 25, 2023. The performances celebrated in-theater Red Bucket appeals that raised $3,601,355 for meals and medication, health care and hope for those who need them most.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present Broadway’s Farah Alvin, celebrating the release of her highly anticipated album On Vinyl, on Friday, May 19 at 7:00 PM.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present original Into the Woods star Danielle Ferland in her solo concert debut, “Sing for Your Ghosts,” with two shows on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21, both at 7:00 PM.

KIMBERLY AKIMBO will launch a National Tour at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in September 2024. Learn more about Kimberly Akimbo!

The production will tell the story of Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America, joined by Peggy Carter, Nick Fury and select members of the Avengers. The musical follows Rogers' journey from World War II to leading the Avengers as Captain America. The musical was teased by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman's 'Save the City' in Hawkeye.

Kimberly Akimbo: Original Broadway Cast Recording will be released on CD on Friday, May 19. The CD is available for pre-order starting today, Friday, April 7. The CD booklet features complete lyrics, color photography and liner notes by Washington Post theater writer Peter Marks.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present Academy Award nominee Chris Sarandon and Tony-nominated actor and comedian Mario Cantone in a one-night-only live recording podcast episode of “Cooking By Heart” on Thursday, April 20 at 7:00 PM.

Miscast is one of the most anticipated and exciting theater events in New York each year.
