One of the longest-running shows in West End and Broadway history, CATS will come to The King's Theatre from Monday 16th - Saturday 28th September 2013.

Comedian and actor Les Dennis will be reunited with his Life's Too Short co-star, film and TV actor Warwick Davis, when they star together as King Arthur and Patsy in Monty Python's Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre, in Warwick Davis' towering West End debut (he was the tallest actor we could find at short notice). DOWNTON ABBEY star and notable stage and screen actor Hugh Bonneville took to the stage for a special string of performances as none other than God himself in the current UK production of SPAMALOT beginning this week.

As Spamalot continues its successful West End run at The Playhouse Theatre, Bonnie is to return as The Lady Of The Lake from May 6 2013,following critics' and audiences' unanimous appreciation of her performance in 2012, described as "brilliant" and "Bassey-esque" by The Times and "a sensation" by Time Out.

According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.

Premiering at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 9 February 2013 the show will also visit Aberdeen, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Bradford, Hull, Sunderland, Southampton, Milton Keynes, Woking, Ostend and Dublin. As previously reported, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 is headed to the West End, with an opening night set for October 16 at the Manchester Opera House. The Daily Mail announces today that Jackie Clune will play 'Violet,' alongside Bonnie Langford as 'Roz,' Natalie Casey as 'Judy,' Ben Richards as 'Franklin Hart' and Amy Lennox as 'Doralee.'

Now in its 15th year and run by the Society of London Theatre, Kids Week is all about encouraging young people to experience the magic of live theatre. During Kids Week a child aged 16 or under can go free to participating shows when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Up to two extra children's tickets can be purchased at half price.

Kerry Ellis will next be appearing at the Royal Albert Hall, in another production produced and directed by Hugh Wooldridge, for the benefit of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, The Night of 1000 Voices, on Bank Holiday Sunday, tonight, May 6.

Churchill Theatre Bromley celebrates the launch of Spamalot by working with top local restaurant Ferrari's in order to recreate the famous Monty Python 'Spam' sketch. This was set in the 'Green Midget Cafe' in Bromley.

The Night of 1000 Voices, the annual, star-studded event celebrating musical theatre at the Royal Albert Hall, is to take place on Spring Bank Holiday Sunday May 6, 2012 and will fundraise for blood cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
