According to published reports, Monty Python's Spamalot, a new musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, directed by Christopher Luscombe, will move to the Playhouse Theatre following its current run at the Harold Pinter Theatre. After closing at the Pinter on September 9, the show will open at the Playhouse on November 14, where it will play through April 13.

On 19 February at the Prince of Wales Theatre, West End and Broadway star Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You, Oliver!) was voted Winner of the Jo Hutchinson International Best Solo Performance at the WhatsonStage Awards (2012). Kerry Ellis will next be appearing at the Royal Albert Hall, in another production produced and directed by Hugh Wooldridge, for the benefit of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, The Night of 1000 Voices, on Bank Holiday Sunday, tonight, May 6.
Churchill Theatre Bromley celebrates the launch of Spamalot by working with top local restaurant Ferrari's in order to recreate the famous Monty Python 'Spam' sketch. This was set in the 'Green Midget Cafe' in Bromley.
