Christopher Biggins, hugely popular star of musical theatre, screen comedies, panto dame extraordinaire and one of Britain's best-loved TV personalities, is announced today as the larger than life host of the 2015 West End Heroes gala concert.
West End leading lady Imelda Staunton is among a list of stars lending support to a charity gala to honour Stephen Sondheim at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane this October. Staunton comments, This year, Stephen Sondheim turned 85, and some of his old friends here in London - and I'm sure a few young ones - feel that we'd like to do something to celebrate.
