In the decade he has been working in New York he has racked up some impressive credits including Carrie, Dogfight, Wicked, The Bridges of Madison County, Anastasia, and Jagged Little Pill. Having been a part of the annual Rockers On Broadway concert series, Amanda Swickle (Annie National Tour) was inspired to create an “all kids” Rockers-type event to support the arts community. She approached the The PATH Fund, Inc. team who hopped on board thrilled at the opportunity to mentor and work with these amazing young artists from around the country.

This season looks to be very exciting at the FSCJ Artist Series with Broadway productions, concerts, ballets, operas, comedy shows, dance productions, school performances and variety shows.

In its first season after the pandemic, MSMT has offered many noteworthy moments of memory, but perhaps few as thrilling as this tribute concert to two of the greatest names in popular music of the late 20th century: Billy Joel and Elton John. In a spectacular musical evening that focuses largely on the seminal recordings made by these two legends in the 1970s, PIANO MEN celebrates two artists born on opposite sides of the Pond, whose albums from that period featured not only classic rock arrangements, but also lush, full-scale orchestrations. MSMT conjures up the ambiance with Joe Boucher’s dazzling four- piece rock band partnered by the breathtakingly grand twenty-piece MSMT orchestra under the impressive baton of Ben McNaboe.

The performers were shot and recorded in all 5 Boroughs in locations such as Birdland, the Brooklyn Museum, Columbia University, La Casita de Chema, Maimonides Park, NYU, Open Jar Studios, Red Hook Winery, Russ & Daughters, Steinway & Sons Factory, Tom’s Restaurant, and the Wonder Wheel among many others.

Based on the popular 'Audience Singalongs' that took place on Sunday and Monday nights during runs in theatres throughout the country, Hershey Felder and his team have created an event, where one can be directly involved and take part with a world-wide audience from home.

Adam Pascal is a Broadway star who struggles with Broadway because he is, in his very soul a rock star. That dichotomy has always been the appeal of Pascal’s work. He walks in the Broadway world, but he’s not quite OF it. His show was a no-frills tour through his unexpected career. Just him, a guitar, his stories, and that voice. It is an entirely unique instrument. No one else sounds like him. His voice is as thrilling at 50 as it was when he played Roger Davis at 25.

Multiple Grammy Award winner Sharon Isbin, recently recognized as the 2020 Instrumentalist of the Year by Musical America will appear in recital on August 5 at 7:00pm at the Aspen Music Festival’s Benedict Music Tent. 

Award-winning Broadway veteran JOHNNY RODGERS will pay tribute to rock's most famous pianist/singer/songwriters in THE PIANO MEN: A TRIBUTE TO BILLY JOEL AND ELTON JOHN on SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 2021 at 2PM in the Furlan Auditorium of SUNSET PLAYHOUSE.
