The 24 Hour Plays have announced additional performers who will be joining the incredible line-up for the 21st Annual The 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Extraordinary artists from Broadway, TV and film will come together to create brand-new plays and musicals written, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours.

Today, the American Film Institute (AFI) announced that the 34th edition of AFI FEST presented by Audi will open with the World Premiere of the Amazon Original film  I'M YOUR WOMAN.

The Young Man from Atlanta officially opened last night, November 24th in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The Young Man from Atlanta is the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by two-time Academy Award winner and former Signature Residency One Playwright Horton Foote, directed by Michael Wilson.

The Signature Theatre production of Curse of the Starving Class, by Sam Shepard and directed by Tony Award nominee Terry Kinney, runs to June, 2 2019 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing SquareSignature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Roundabout Theatre Company will host their fifth annual Casino Night, at the American Airlines Theatre (227 W. 42nd St). All proceeds benefit Roundabout Theatre Company's many programs, including the Education programs, the Theatrical Workforce Development Program and Artist Residencies.

Just last night, the Signature Theatre held its Annual Gala at The Pershing Square Signature Center. The event honored Citi CEO Michael Corbat and celebrated the millionth subsidized ticket offered under the groundbreaking Signature Ticket Initiative.

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Joseph Masteroff, the Tony-winning librettist of the international musical classics, Cabaret and She Loves Me, died on September 28th 2018 at the Actors Fund Home in Engelwood, New Jersey. He was 98 years old.
