West End SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL Postponed Until 2022; Whoopi Goldberg Departs Cast

Due to the current and ongoing pandemic restrictions and the knock-on effect this has had to the international production's schedule, Jamie Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg, the producers of Sister Act The Musical, have come to the decision that it is impossible to open the show in London this summer and have postponed performances at the Eventim Apollo until 2022.
Lesley Joseph Will Star In SISTER ACT UK and Ireland Tour

Lesley Joseph will join the cast for the UK and Ireland tour of the smash-hit musical, a?oeSISTER ACTa??. The show will open on 21 April 2020 at Leicester Curve and will visit Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield and Manchester. The UK and Ireland tour will re-open on 15 September at Birmingham Hippodrome and will finish its run in Milton Keynes on 5 December 2020. Full tour listings and casting details below.
Clive Rowe Will Join the Cast Of SISTER ACT With Whoopi Goldberg

Olivier award- winning actor Clive Rowe will join the cast as 'Eddie Souther' in the smash-hit musical a?oeSISTER ACTa??. He will play the part in Leicester, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester and London. In London, Clive will star opposite Whoopi Goldberg as 'Deloris Van Cartier' and Jennifer Saunders and 'Mother Superior'. Brenda Edwards will play 'Deloris Van Cartier' at selected performances during the London season and all venues on the UK and Ireland tour. Casting for the role of Mother Superior on the UK and Ireland tour and the full company will be announced soon.

Following a record breaking on sale, where SISTER ACT became one of London's fastest selling musicals, the musical will now open a week earlier. Performances now start on Tuesday 21 July 2020. The show runs until Sunday 30 August 2020. Tickets for the extra week go on sale at 10.00am on 7 February 2020.

Deep in the stomach of Soho, the Boulevard Theatre is the newest addition in the panorama of London's studio theatres. The exceptionally versatile and sleek venue has just opened its doors with the UK premiere of Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet. The show is a celebration of ancestral storytelling: characters and storylines intersect and transcend time in what feels more like a song cycle or a staged concept album of sorts. The numbers push the narrative while Carly Bawden, Niccolò Curradi, Maimuna Memon, and Zubin Varla take their audience on a primordial journey.

Stunning new images of the Boulevard theatre have today been released days after the theatre opened its doors to the public for the first time for the London premiere of Dave Malloy's Ghost Quartet, directed by Bill Buckhurst. Press night for Ghost Quartet is 31 October. The restaurant is also now open from 8am daily.
