Today, Pasadena Playhouse has announced a season of four Los Angeles Premieres - Mike Lew’s Teenage Dick, a modern take on Shakespeare’s Richard III, directed by Tony Award nominee Moritz von Stuelpnagel; direct from Broadway, Special Tony Award recipient freestyle love supreme, plus more.

Salastina Artistic Directors Kevin Kumar and Maia Jasper White today announced the ensemble’s 2021-2022 season, celebrating a return to live performance, the continuation of its successful virtual Happy Hours, and an integration of the two.

The press night of Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical JERSEY BOYS, took place at the new multi-million pound reinstated Trafalgar Theatre on Tuesday 17 August. Guests included Judy Murray, Bruno Tonioli, Jessica Hynes, Gizzi Erskine and Myleene Klass.

It’s been over four years since jukebox musical Jersey Boys was in the West End. The uplifting story of the rise of one of the most successful bands of the 1950s and 60s, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, now explodes back into London at the newly refurbished Trafalgar Theatre.

It comes as a pleasant surprise to find out that Derek Klena, actor, singer, cabaret performer, is in truth a genuinely affable, kind, thoughtful guy. He is also a prodigiously talented one. In the decade he has been working in New York he has racked up some impressive credits including Carrie, Dogfight, Wicked, The Bridges of Madison County, Anastasia, and Jagged Little Pill. There is nothing amateurish about Enebakk Musikkteater's open-air production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. While some may lack experience in performing, as an ensemble they present a wholesome end-result, with a scenery that is to die for. This review is based on last year’s run. JERSEY BOYS began previews on 28 July at the new multi-million pound reinstated Trafalgar Theatre and officially opens tomorrow night, Tuesday 17 August.

Recorded at JM Canada's André Bourbeau House and broadcast between August 20 and September 10, 2021, at 10:30am, these select 40-minute concerts will be available for free in the Media Library section of the organization's website. People will then be able to listen to their favourite artists for a year.
