Kiss Me, Kate! is a musical written by Bella and Samuel Spewack ,with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The story involves the production of a musical version of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and the conflict on and off-stage between Fred Graham, the show's director, producer, and star, and his leading lady, his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi.

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office will open Monday, May 23rd for all summer ticket sales for their 50th anniversary summer season.  CRT's Box Office is located at CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland and is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays from noon – 6:00 PM. 

It's Christmas Eve in the tropical prison colony of Cayenne, French Guiana, where the temperature has graciously dropped to 104 degrees. Hopeless shopkeeper Felix Ducotel has hired three convicts - two of them murderers, the third a swindler - to fix his roof. But when Felix's evil cousin arrives to oust Felix and his family from their business, the three convicts realize the Ducatels need a few guardian angels, and decide to use every criminal art they possess to set matters right. Cortland Repertory Theatre has announced their 2022 5-show summer season to be held at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, NY, as a celebration of their 50th Anniversary. The season will run from June 8 – August 20 and will contain three musicals and two plays.

​This April, the Union High School Performing Arts Company (UHSPAC) will be performing Kiss Me, Kate; Licensed through Concord Theatricals, with music by Cole Porter and lyrics and book by Samuel and Bella Spewack.

The first ever Tony Award winner for Best Musical, based on the book by Sam and Bella Spewack with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, is to be directed by Johanna McKenzie Miller. In a twist of fate, Miller will make her mainstage directorial debut at the Marriott Theatre roughly 20 years after making her acting debut under the very same spotlight. Musical direction for this production is led by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson with choreography by Jeff Award nominee Alex Sanchez.  

After a being postponed for a year, South Australia's beloved Independent Theatre will present the comedy My Three Angels, which inspired one of Australia's first TV dramas back in 1962.
