Leicester Comedy Festival, the longest running comedy festival in the UK, today launches its packed programme for 2020 with more venues, more talent and more unique events than ever before. The festival will feature over 1,600 performers, performing over 800 shows on more than 90 stages across Leicester & Leicestershire. The University of Southern Maine Department of Theatre season dedicated to uplifting women and women's voices takes a raw and powerful turn with The Love of the Nightingale by Timberlake Wertenbaker. The play opens Friday, November 15, followed by an opening night reception and runs through Sunday, November 24. A special a?oetalk backa?? event takes place on Thursday, November 21.
