Following a critically-acclaimed, sold out world premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, global event distributor Trafalgar Releasing today announced plans to bring Between Me and My Mind, a feature-length documentary chronicling the life and music of Trey Anastasio, to movie theaters across North America for a one-night engagement on July 17.

Wilson Stage from May 1 through June 2, 2019.

KIRA celebrates humanity as one village, and its sacred bond to Mother Nature in this evocative work of dance, live percussion and chants by renowned Guinean artist Fara Tolno. Produced and commissioned by Lua Shayenne (Shayenne Productions) and co-presented with Lua Shayenne Dance Company, with choreography and musical composition by Fara Tolno, this premiere production will be presented from June 6 - 9, 2019 at Fleck Dance Theatre, as part of the Luminato Festival 2019.

On May 10th, 2019, Cleopatra Entertainment - in association with Cleopatra Blues - will release a brand new concert film Viva Las Vegas Live from Grammy Award-nominated Blues legend Joe Louis Walker. Directed by Brent Backhus, this stunning 85-minute concert was captured in all its glory at the infamous Boulder Station Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada last summer during Walker's 2018 U.S. tour.

Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. In what would have been the 50th year of Rory Gallagher's recording career, UMC are pleased to announce the release of 'BLUES' on Friday 31st May. From the vaults of the Gallagher estate's tape archive comes this collection of rare and unreleased recordings of Rory playing his favourite blues material. Ranging from never heard before tracks to special guest sessions with legendary blues artists (Muddy Waters / Albert King) and lost radio sessions, this album uncovers Rory's love of the blues throughout his solo career from 1971 right through to 1994. 

The living legends of jazz, veteran musicians who have achieved greatness in performing jazz are now being honored at The Nash with the creation of The Jazz Beacon Award. Conceived by Lewis Nash as a way to recognize the important role and contributions these musicians have given to the world of jazz, The Nash inducted its first honoree, bassist Ron Carter, during his March 23rd appearance at the downtown Phoenix jazz club.
