Quickie Fest 7, the one-minute movie festival, has announced its roster of Special Jury members and short film slate for its seventh incarnation, which will take place this Saturday, June 29th at 7:00PM at NYC's SVA Theatre. Comedy Central today released the official trailer for its next great sketch series, Alternatino with Arturo Castro, premiering on Tuesday, June 18 at 10:30pm ET/PT. This summer, creator, writer and star Arturo Castro (Broad City, Narcos) tackles more than 45 characters in sketches over ten episodes that showcase his perspective on relationships, everyday awkward moments and much more. Each episode in addition to the sketches has a scripted narrative thread that features a heightened version of Arturo as he goes about daily life as a Latin millennial.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah recorded historic growth among men 18-34 for the first quarter of 2019, averaging a .39 rating, which is a +13% increase from the previous quarter. The growth represents the largest jump in the history of the Comedy Central series under Noah. The Daily Show finished the quarter in a tie for the #1 ranking across all of TV among men 18-34 in the late night talk show category. For the quarter, the series averaged a .53 rating among P18-49, a +4% increase from the previous quarter.
