Laura Heywood and producer Susan Vargo (The SpongeBob Musical) have launched Applause Shop, an online marketplace designed to help theatre artists make ends meet, find joyful new homes for Broadway merchandise and memorabilia, and contribute to arts and social issues charities through financial support.

The original cast of two-time Tony winner Joe DiPietro’s CONSCIENCE has come together again for a virtual reading of the play with George Street Playhouse for streaming this week ending today (Saturday). Due to the shutdown of theaters throughout the state in March, the world premiere of the production was canceled just days after it opened.  

Deadline has reported that Laura Benanti will joining the cast of HBO Max's upcoming Gossip Girl sequel series. The cast includes Emily Alyn Lind, Tavi Gevinson, Whitney Peak, Eli Brown, Johnathan Fernandez, Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Evan Mock, Jason Gotay, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat, Savannah Smith and Zion Moreno.
