Elohim To Headline 'The Group Therapy Tour' Kicking Off On Feb. 21st

L.A.-based singer, songwriter, producer and vocalist Elohim will be embarking on her full headlining U.S. tour, “The Group Therapy Tour” in February 2020. Joined by Alternative-Pop duo Bahari and artist Mehro, the tour kicks off on February 21st, 2020 at Elsewhere in Brooklyn, NY.

Imperial Triumphant Join Devastation on The Nation North America Tour 2020

New York's nebulous avant-garde metal outfit Imperial Triumphant announce they will be joining the Devastation on The Nation 2020 North American Tour with Rotting Christ, Borknagar, Wolfheart, and Abigail Williams. Cherry Orchard Festival Foundation (USA) and Rock Studio Films (Russia) are proud to present the 2019 Russian Film Week in New York (RFWNY) - a new film festival celebrating independent and commercial films that represents the dynamic landscape of Russian filmmaking today. The event, which will take place in New York City, December 6-13 at the SVA Theatre (333 W 23rd St), Peter Jay Sharp Theatre and Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway) and the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway (1871 Broadway).

Anticipating the 2020 Summer Games, when the eyes of the world will once again fall upon Japan's dynamic capital, Tokyo Stories: Japan in the Global Imagination considers the ways Japan—and the elusive concept of “Japaneseness” —is rendered and interpreted outside its borders with a revealing selection of Tokyo-set films by foreign directors, including Japanese co-productions, Hollywood blockbusters, and European arthouse favorites.

The Goethe-Institut Toronto Presents Its October Film Series, STRONGER THAN BLOOD

The Goethe-Institut Toronto proudly presents its powerful and thrilling October film series, STRONGER THAN BLOOD, featuring three outstanding and complex German gangster films over the last two decades. DEALER (1999) by Thomas Arslan, CHIKO (2008) by Ozgur Yildirim, and STRONGER THAN BLOOD (2009) by Oliver Kienle. The films will screen at TIFF Bell Lightbox, October 3, 8, and 10, 2019 at 6:30pm.

Kristen Stewart to Receive the Golden Eye Award at Zurich Film Festival

Kristen Stewart will be the recipient of the Zurich Film Festival's prestigious Golden Eye Award. Stewart will be in Zurich with director Benedict Andrews to celebrate her latest film SEBERG in which she plays the title character, Jean Seberg. The film receives its Swiss premiere on Wednesday October 2nd.

The Early November Premieres I DISSOLVE

Alternative rock icons The Early November are treating fans to another song from their forthcoming album, Lilac. The beautifully wistful 'I Dissolve' is streaming now on BrooklynVegan. Lilac, the band's highly anticipated 5th studio album, is set to be released on September 27th via Rise Records. The Early November's first album since 2015's Imbue, Lilac represents a shift towards a more pop-centric sound while preserving the raw vulnerability that the band has become known for. Have Mercy Releases Highly Anticipated Album THE LOVE LIFE

Have Mercy has dropped their fourth full-length album, The Love Life, today via Hopeless Records. Heralded as the band's 'most dynamic record to date' by New Noise Magazine, The Love Life explores the negative space in the bands music like never before. Along with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, The Maine), who oversaw the album's three-week recording progress, the group spent time carving out room in the album's 11 songs for each element of their sound-whether intricate guitar lines or Swindle's visceral vocal performances-to take center stage or serve a complementary role, depending on the situation.
