Over 90 cast members of all ages will take to the stage at the Layton High School Auditorium for 6 performances of Disney's The Little Mermaid  beginning Thursday, August 4th. Presented by On Pitch Performing Arts (OPPA!) as part of their 2023 Community Theater season, and based on the beloved Disney film, this show is sure to delight all ages.

The Santa Barbara Symphony presents “Fandango Picante” with guest violin superstar Anne Akiko Meyers, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 4:00 pm and Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 7:30 pm at the Granada Theatre. Akiko Meyers returns to ignite the stage with Fandango, a new piece written specifically for her by legendary Mexican composer Arturo Márquez, who will also be in attendance. This piece recently made its world premiere with the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

Writer/performer Moti Buchboot will bring his world premiere solo show Five Pieces of Paper: Stories My Hungarian Grandmother Refused to Tell Me and Other Family Tales to the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival in June. There will be four performances only at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Davidson/Valentini Theatre Monday 6/10 at 8:30pm; Tuesday 6/18 at 6:30pm; Tuesday 6/25 at 8:30pm; and Thursday 6/27 at 6:30pm. Running time will be 70 minutes.

On October 24, the Rensselaer Orchestra, an ensemble of students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, will make a historic debut performance at Carnegie Hall. Hosted by DCINY and under the direction of Maestro Nicholas DeMaison, the ensemble will perform Missy Mazzoli's River Rouge Transfiguration and Jean Sibelius's Symphony No. 5 in E-flat major, Op. 82. The performance celebrates the launch of Rensselaer's new Bachelor of Science degree in Music and is part of an evening of activities in support of student scholarships.
