Max Bemis (Say Anything) last night premiered a new video for his single “Evermore (and the Grammy Goes to)” via YouTube. The video was directed by Bemis and shot and edited by Daniel Poe. “Evermore (and the Grammy Goes to)” comes off of his debut album, under the Maxim Mental moniker, Make Team Presents Maxim Mental In Maximalism.

The album was co-written and produced by Grammy nominated producer Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile) who is also a longtime collaborator of Max Bemis. To date he has shared the singles “Evermore (and the Grammy goes to),' “Girls The Truth' and most recently “Grace Beyond Christ.”

Make Team Presents Maxim Mental in Maximalism was co-written and produced by Grammy nominated producer Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile) who is also a longtime collaborator of Max Bemis. Cindy Williams will take the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater stage at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in her one-woman show, Me, Myself & Shirley for a limited two-show engagement April 16, 2022.

The song, co-written and produced by Grammy-nominated Will Yip (Code Orange, Title Fight, Turnstile) was written during a period of time when Bemis’ wife Sherri Dupree-Bemis was struggling with a years-long battle with postpartum depression. “Evermore (and the Grammy goes to)” reflects the toll it took on Max but also the love he felt throughout.

On March 19, 2022, dance comedy duo The Raving Jaynes will present 'If You Say So' at the Players Theatre. A new monthly series running through April, “If You Say So” weaves audience suggestions into on the spot stories, dances and songs, accompanied by live pianist, Rachel Dean.

Catch a comedy show with your friends! SOPAC is back with another installment of Laughs in the Loft, a monthly stand-up comedy series. Hosted by Joe Larson, each show features several comedians. The next performance is Wednesday, December 1 at 7:30PM. Tickets are $20.
