How would you feel if you could remember every single day of your life? That is the focus of MARILU HENNER: MUSIC & MEMORIES!, which returned this evening to 54 Below. Ms. Henner walked us through some of her favorite memories from her decades in show business. It would actually be more accurate to say she danced us through some of her favorite memories, for Ms. Henner is a performer almost constantly in motion. She has been dancing from the age of two. Her mother ran a dance studio in her hometown of Chicago for 20 years, and Henner is still in fit dancing condition. She is the author of two books about health.

The title track, which recalls early Hold Steady with its raucous guitars and Bradbury's freewheeling, almost conversational delivery, distills this experience into one frantic, infectiously catchy minute, translating that particularly painful meeting into a blistering takedown of the commodification of art.

The festival will run for 16 days and nights as usual this year, staging 160+ performances of 30 events in 16 venues, including a return to beloved Dublin venues, outdoor stages at city landmarks and shows designed to be experienced at your place, or near home for audiences outside of Dublin.
