The Almeida Theatre has announced a new season of shows from autumn 2022 to spring 2023, including a world premiere of a new musical from Elton john, Jake Shears and James Graham.

Andrew Rannell, Phylicia Rashad, Isaac Powell, Robin Weigert, Kate Burton and Cassandra Freeman have rounded out the cast of Our Son, starring the previously announced Billy Porter and Luke Evans. Bill Oliver will direct the film, featuring a script that he co-wrote with Peter Nickowitz.

It’s the fifth and final single from Iconis’ sprawling new 44-track album, simply titled Album, which features over 70 members of Iconis’ vast family of collaborators including Aaron Tveit, Andrew Ranells, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Krysta Rodriguez, Andrew Barth Feldman, Kerry Butler, Danny Burstein, Annie Golden, George Salazar, Will Roland, and more.

The new soundtrack features the shows stars, Sara Bareilles, Reneé Elise Goldsberry, Busy Phillips, and Paula Pell, and also features vocal performances from Andrew Rannells, Ashley Park, Erika Henningsen, Ingrid Michaelson, and Jeremiah Craft.
