The Classical Theatre of Harlem has announced their annual benefit event, 'Hold ‘Em In Harlem,' commemorating 100 years of the Harlem Renaissance and 25 years of CTH, as well as its upcoming season in honor of longtime trustee, the late Andre Braugher.

On Monday, December 18th, 2023 The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH), hosted a night of holiday entertainment hosted by actor Ethan Hawke. The theatre's annual show was dedicated to longtime trustee Andre Braugher who sadly recently passed away. CTH will be dedicating their entire 2024 season to the actor.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem will welcome Ethan Hawke to its board of directors. Hawke is a four-time Academy Award-nominated actor, screenwriter, director, producer, and best-selling novelist. A Tony Award-nominated stage actor, Hawke starred in the Broadway revival of Sam Shepard's True West; Tom Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia; Macbeth; Henry IV; and The Seagull. He has been nominated for the Drama Desk Award as both actor and director.
