Cast Set For THE LARAMIE PROJECT at Fort Salem Theater

Fort Salem Theater announced the cast for THE LARAMIE PROJECT, featuring nine local actors, seven making their FST debut. The documentary-style play examines the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming.

Artistic Director Lisa Spirling and Executive Director Hanna Streeter have announced their first season at Stratford East, with exciting plans for the venue as a whole. The new season includes Here There Are Blueberries by Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich, BLOODSPORT: After Helen of Troy by Ava Pickett and Choir Boy by Tarell Alvin McCraney. We had the opportunity to talk with both Spirling and Streeter about their first season at the theatre. We discussed what made each of them want to join Stratford East, some of their favourite shows they’ve seen at the venue and all about about the upcoming season!

Tectonic Theater Project hosted its annual benefit gala, A Tectonic Cabaret, on October 20, 2025, at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. The event honored Tony-winning producer Barbara Whitman and Emmy Award-winning actress and activist Uzo Aduba, featuring performances by Hannah Gadsby, Beth Malone, Natalie Venetia Belcon, and more. HERE THERE ARE BLUEBERRIES, THE MOUNTAINTOP, and KING JAMES Set for Detroit Public Theatre 2025–2026 Season

Detroit Public Theatre has announced its 11th season, which will feature a mix of new work, contemporary classics, and audience favorites. The season opens October 1, 2025, with the first licensed U.S. production of Here There Are Blueberries, and will conclude in June 2026 with King James, Rajiv Joseph’s acclaimed exploration of friendship through basketball.

HERE THERE ARE BLUEBERRIES Makes International Debut

Tectonic Theater Project's Here There Are Blueberries, co-written by Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich, and conceived and originally directed by Kaufman, officially began performances at Madrid's renowned Teatros del Canal.
