To pass the time in quarantine, Jagged Little Pill star, Elizabeth Stanley, took a seat at her keyboard for a short medley of Alanis hits!

Broadway may be dark for the time being but this week Little Known Facts is bringing you light and joy in the form of Elizabeth Stanley- star of the rock musical sensation, Jagged Little Pill. Elizabeth began her JLP journey with a self-tape in her bedroom. With her camera on a step ladder and the Christmas letter she reads in the play set up on her computer she was able to self tape in her bedroom and send it in to the musicals creative team. That began a journey with this musical that began over 3 years ago. Elizabeth shares stories from first readings to the  rehearsal room to Broadway. 

Jagged Little Pill star, Lauren Patten, treats social media followers to an Alanis Morissette favorite!

On December 5, 2019, Broadway officially got a little bit more ironic, when Jagged Little Pill opened at the Broadhurst Theatre. Based on the beloved Alanis Morisette album of the same name, the arrival of Jagged Little Pill also marked the debuts of nine young performers. One of them was Ezra Menas. 

Today, acclaimed artist and 90's icon of confessional songwriting, Liz Phair, has announced a series of headline dates in May prior to hitting the road opening for Alanis Morissette and Garbage on what has already shaped up to be one of the biggest, most-loved tours of the summer.  Besides the 10 headline shows this spring, Liz will also be performing at the Intuition Ale's Spring Festival and a special one-off performance at Mass MoCa Museum.

The Clive Barnes Foundation, today announced finalists for the 10th Annual Clive Barnes Awards, recognizing excellence in Theater and Dance. According to the New York Times, the list includes Celia Rose Gooding (Jagged Little Pill), Sophia Anne Caruso (Beetlejuice), Andrew Burnap (The Inheritance), and Christopher Livingston (The Great Society) in the theatre category, and India Bradley, Roman Mejia, Kellie Drobnick, and Aran Bell in the dance category.

Last night, supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley gathered to hear the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning company and its Board of Trustees announce the launch of its 50th Anniversary Campaign, a $5 million fundraising campaign to ensure the future success of the nationally-acclaimed theatre, including commissions for new plays and musicals. 

Today, seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winner and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette announces her much anticipated European leg of her 2020 World Tour celebrating 25 years of Jagged Little Pill and her upcoming album Such Pretty Forks In The Road. The run will see Alanis perform in 13 cities across Europe, kicking off in Copenhagen on 23rd September and concluding at Paris' AccorHotels Arena on 22nd October. Travel back to summer 1997, crack open a Surge and take a journey of loss and discovery through songs Sean typically belts out in his own bedroom. The Bedroom World Tour will showcase this inspiring fresh performer at his most vulnerable with songs from Elton John, Donny Hathaway, Alanis Morissette, Hamilton and a full Wicked showstopper. Today's matinee of Jagged Little Pill was evacuated mid-show after an audience member allegedly used pepper spray.

Theatre enthusiasts packed the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts tonight to hear Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley, incoming Artistic Director Tim Bond, and Executive Director Phil Santora of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announce the lineup for the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning company's 2020-21 season, which launches this summer.

Make sure to set your DVRs because the cast of Jagged Little Pill is set to perform on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, January 27.

The cast of Jagged Little Pill, will celebrate the Atlantic Records release of their original cast recording, 'JAGGED LITTLE PILL (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING),' with an in-store performance and signing at Barnes & Noble Upper Eastside (150 East 86th Street) at 4:30 pm on Friday, January 24th.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is thrilled to announce multi-platinum award-winning singer and songwriter Jann Arden as the first 2020 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. With accolades that include 19 top 10 singles and eight JUNO Awards, Arden is a beloved Canadian musical artist and personality. To celebrate her induction during The 49th Annual JUNO Awards on Sunday, March 15, 2020, Arden will grace the stage and perform live from the SaskTel Centre. Fans can tune in to this special performance as part of The 2020 JUNO Awards broadcast live in Canada on CBC, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, and the CBC Listen app. The awards will also be available for audiences outside of Canada to stream at cbcmusic.ca/junos.
