National Asian Artists Project's Rediscover Series presented Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella- In Concert, starring Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera) and Josh Dela Cruz (Aladdin, 'Blues Clues And You') as Ella and Prince Topher, on March 2 at The Alvin Ailey Citicorp Theater.

Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera) and Josh Dela Cruz (Blue's Clues & You, Aladdin) will star as Ella and Topher in the National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella- In Concert, as part of its 'Rediscover Series' which explores classic American musicals, with professional artists of Asian descent, proving that great works of theater speak to all communities. Alan Muraoka and 'Sesame Street' Muppeteers Jennifer Barnhart and Kathy Kim delighted children and their parents as they shared traditions of the Lunar New Year in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium during two performances at The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Lunar New Year Festival celebrating the Year of the Rat on February 1, 2020. Touching on genres ranging from rock, country, folk, light opera, big band and mariachi, Elizabeth Ward Land finds her perfect vocal match in this salute to the great Linda Ronstadt. Featuring hits from the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers vast catalogue, including YOU'RE NO GOOD, BLUE BAYOU, DIFFERENT DRUM, DESPERADO, FRENESI and HEAT WAVE, the evening promises something for every music lover. Directed by Alan Muraoka, with Music Supervision and arrangements by Andrew David Sotomayor- with special guests Catherine Porter and Joel Waggoner.
