Hadestown begins preview performances tonight, March 22, at the Walter Kerr Theatre, ahead of a Wednesday, April 17 official opening night. Get to know the cast below as they begin Broadway performances!

Hadestown is gearing up for Broadway! The new musical, which begins previews on Friday, March 22 ahead of a Wednesday, April 17 opening night, has announced its digital lottery, general rush, and standing room policies.

Later this week, on March 22, Hadestown will begin preview performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre, ahead of a Wednesday, April 17 official opening night. The company recently gave a preview of the show to the press, and BroadwayWorld was there! Check out photos, and get a sneak peek at the show, below!

The box office of the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) opens tomorrow at 10 AM for Hadestown, the eagerly anticipated new Broadway musical. The Kerr's normal box office hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 8 PM. On Sunday, April 21, the box office will be open from 10 AM until 8 PM. Starting April 28, normal Sunday box office hours will be noon until 6 PM. Additionally, tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 877 250 2929.

Today, producers Mara Isaacs, Dale Franzen, Hunter Arnold, and Tom Kirdahy announced complete casting for Hadestown, the new musical by celebrated singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell, developed with innovative director and Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin.

SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will close on Broadway Sunday, December 30, 2018. A North American Tour will launch on September 30, 2019, playing dozens of cities across the US and Canada, including Los Angeles, Nashville, Rochester, Washington DC and West Palm Beach.

There was no shortage of HOT STUFF when the cast of Summer, The Donna Summer Musical visited Broadway Sessions recently. The multi faceted cast, including Storm Lever, Afra Hines, Wonu Ogunfowora, Anissa Felix, Jody Reynard, Ken Robinson, Kristin Yancy, Judith Franklin, Aaron Krohn shared their favorite tunes that went way beyond disco. Audience members had the opportunity to learn choreography from the hit show and to interact with the cast. One audience member even dazzled the cast with a custom gown made entirely of Summer 'fans'! But that's just the sort of thing that happens at Broadway Sessions.Enjoy these highlights, including our magnificently talented Rising Stars Caitlin Gallogly and Sarah Goodman.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida, Footloose, Dance Captain Dance Attack web series) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, 11/8 Broadway Sessions will welcome cast members from Summer, The Donna Summer Musical singing 'More Than Disco'
