The news arrives alongside lead single 'On A Beach (feat Feist)' and its cinematic, star-studded official video, also featuring the inimitable Leslie Feist with cameos by Matt Berninger of The National and beloved actor Steve Buscemi (who Hayden last worked with on the music for Trees Lounge, Buscemi’s 1997 directorial debut).

The National has unveiled “New Order T-Shirt,” the second pre-release track from its ninth studio album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein. Accentuating the album’s layered meditations on the rupturing of connection, “New Order T-Shirt” is a warmly hypnotic track that shifts between singer Matt Berninger’s brightly detailed memories.

Produced by Nanna alongside collaborators Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift) and Josh Kaufman (​Bonny Light Horseman, War on Drugs, Hiss Golden Messenger), How To Start A Garden features 11 tracks including “Crybaby,” the second release from the collection, available now.

The Lone Bellow shared a stunning stripped-down piano version of their single “Honey.” The song arrives as the band embarks on the second leg of their US headline tour in support of the new album, kicking off tonight in Houston followed by stops in Denver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles among many others.

Anchored by evocative melodies and an enthralling lyrical narrative, First Two Pages of Frankenstein signals a new chapter in the band’s beloved discography. The 11-song album was produced by The National at Long Pond Studios in upstate New York and features guest appearances by Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers and Sufjan Stevens.

Their fifth full-length, Love Songs for Losers finds the beloved Nashville-by-way-of-Brooklyn trio striking out on their own for the first time and self-producing, a departure from their previous work with elite producers like Aaron Dessner (The National) and Dave Cobb. Nashville-based trio The Lone Bellow released their new single “Unicorn.” The latest track to release from their forthcoming album Love Songs for Losers (out soon through Dualtone Music Group), “Unicorn” unfolds with a cascade of heavenly melodies as lead singer Zach Williams offers up an unabashed outpouring of affection.

The album was named one of the most anticipated albums of the fall. The album's singles 'Pressure In My Chest,' 'Hysteria,' and 'Blue,' showcase the album's rare and reflective power. It’s a simultaneously nostalgic yet clear and complex collection that expands her sound and outlook.

Indigo Sparke shares a video “Hysteria,” the title track from her forthcoming Aaron Dessner-produced album. The fifth full-length from the beloved Nashville-by-way-of-Brooklyn trio, Love Songs For Losers features their most expansive and eclectic body of work yet. The group also shared their new single “Honey,” a synth-laced reflection on the more delicate aspects of enduring love imbued with equal parts brutal honesty and heart-expanding wisdom. 

In their first UK festival performance since before the pandemic, American soft rock quintet The National have shown themselves to be capable of a competent return to form. Their particular brand of soaring choruses is reminiscent of a brooding film soundtrack, and is a perfect fit for the atmospheric surrounds of East London’s Victoria Park.

The National have been playing a number of new songs live since returning to the road this May, and now, the group releases one of them as a new single through 4AD, “Weird Goodbyes,” feat. Bon Iver. The single continues the tradition of Justin Vernon’s collaborations with the band in the studio and on stage.

To celebrate the album’s release, King Princess performed at Lollapalooza last week following a special album release show at Chicago’s House of Blues the night before. Later this year, she will embark on The Hold On Baby Tour, a North American run of headline dates with stops at several historic venues. Watch the new video performance now!

Nashville-based trio The Lone Bellow released their new single titled “Gold.” The first new release since their triumphant 2020 album Half Moon Light, “Gold” embodies an unvarnished intensity with a galvanizing look at the real-life impact of the opioid crisis. The track was recorded with their bassist Jason Pipkin and drummer Julian Dorio.

After moving back to New York from her native Australia in the spring of 2021, Sparke finished writing the album’s 14 songs and decamped upstate with producer Aaron Dessner. Hysteria is packed with big guitars and layered instrumentation that practically acts as the album’s lungs, giving every note breath.

The new track follows previously shared album offerings “Too Bad” and “Cursed,” which arrived alongside a double video directed by Quinn Wilson, “For My Friends” and “Little Bother” featuring Fousheé. King Princess produced Hold On Baby alongside Mark Ronson, Ethan Gruska, Aaron Dessner, Bryce Dessner, Dave Hamelin, Shawn Everett and more.
