Adia Victoria is proud to announce the forthcoming release of her second LP.  Entitled Silences, the album will be released on February 22 via Canvasback Music.   The first single, 'Dope Queen Blues,' was released last month, a day before before Adia and her band played NYC's Forest Hills Stadium as part of The National's 'There's No Leaving New York.'   

Basilica Hudson is thrilled to announce its honoree and preliminary lineup of hosts and performers for Pioneering People, the organization's biennial benefit set to take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018. This year's event will celebrate the achievements and legacy of musician, songwriter, actor, performer and incomparable cultural force Courtney Love and will be creative directed by Basilica Hudson Co-Founder and Director Melissa Auf der Maur and artist, creative director, and Basilica Hudson collaborator Joe Mama-Nitzberg.

Adia Victoria's new single, 'Dope Queen Blues' is out today via Canvasback Music. The single was produced by The National's Aaron Dessner and of the track she notes, 'I wrote it about when I was down in Atlanta with friends talking about my early 20's when I lived there. It was a hazy, wild, debaucherous time. I was putting myself back in the shoes of that 20 year old that had just absolute freedom. We were making money and blowing it. It was a carefree time when we reveled in all of our vices. When I first wrote it it was just me and my guitar but when I went in with Aaron, I said, I don't think this is bad enough or hitting hard enough so Aaron sat down on the piano and did that. I remember after that initial session, Aaron dropped me off at the train and I was sitting on the train and it was then that I knew we were on to something really special.'

The Lone Bellow will head out on a major North American Tour beginning October 1st, snaking through the U.S. through December. For the first time ever, the band will play as just the trio with no backing band - riffing on a wildly popular portion of their live show where the three gather around one microphone.The Restless EP will release wide come Oct. 19th and features two new songs, two covers, and three reworked versions of songs from previous records. Produced by members Brian Elmquist and Jason Pipkin. To mark the occasion they've released two new acoustic tracks, a cover of The National's 'Pink Rabbits' and a new track, 'The Restless' available on all DSP's today as well as pre-ordering of the EP.

Toronto's beloved annual Dream Serenade benefit concert is back and proudly celebrates its landmark fifth anniversary on Saturday, November 17 at 8pm ET, featuring City and Colour, Barenaked Ladies, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Owen Pallett, Hayden, Weaves, Iskwe and an array of surprise special guests. This year, Dream Serenade will take place at Roy Thomson Hall, sister venue to its regular home Massey Hall while it undergoes a two-year revitalization.

The Lone Bellow bring their passionate, deeply personal sound to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre at 8 p.m. as part of their acoustic tour on Thursday, October 4 at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts.

Menangle five-piece The Rubens will perform for audiences across the country this November and December in celebration of their third studio album LO LA RU (out now via Ivy League Records). The tour will see the alt-rock favourites delight fans in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Fremantle and Melbourne as well as eight regional centres across Australia. They will be joined at all headline shows by special guest Little May with an additional opening support act in each state to be announced via a triple j Unearthed competition.

Goodspeed is assembling a stellar cast for Cyrano an inspired new take on the Edmond Rostand classic Cyrano de Bergerac. Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage will develop the title role and film actress Haley Bennett will play Roxanne in this bold new musical. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. This exciting musical is adapted by Erica Schmidt in collaboration with members of the Grammy Award-winning indie alternative band The National. Cyrano will run August 3 - September 2, 2018 at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Finally, A Connecticut Christmas Carol, a musical adaptation of the Dickens holiday classic spiced with the flavor of the Nutmeg State, returns to The Terris Theatre November 30 - December 30, 2018.

The internationally acclaimed and locally grown music festival returns for its ninth edition and will take place for the second consecutive year at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston (65 North Harvard Street, Boston) on Memorial Day Weekend, May 25 - 27, 2018. Headlined by Eminem, The Killers, and Jack White, Boston Calling 2018 will deliver over 54 performances from musicians, bands, and comedians across its three stages and the festival's indoor arena. Adding to the excitement, Academy Award-winning actress, producer and director Natalie Portman is confirmed to curate and host a series of special programming at this year's festival.
