On Tuesday, December 15 at 7:30 p.m., theCarnegie Hall Notables-a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s-presents yMusic in an exclusive concert in Zankel Hall for Notables members only featuring the acclaimed multi-instrumentalists (string trio, flute, clarinet, and trumpet) with special guest The Tallest Man on Earth. Following the concert, the Notables will gather in Carnegie Hall's Weill Terrace Room and Weill Music Room in the Resnick Education Wing for an after-party immediately following the performance with beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery, cocktails provided by The Balvenie, Hendrick's Gin, Milagro Tequila, Monkey Shoulder Whiskey, and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announces the subject matter of the upcoming works to receive their world premieres by the Orchestra as part of the groundbreaking artistic collaboration with the MusicNOW Festival and Artistic Director Bryce Dessner. On Today, March 21, the Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Louis Langrée, will premiere Nico Muhly's Pleasure Ground, a portrait work depicting the life of landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead. On Saturday, March 22, Mr. Langrée and the CSO will premiere mountain, a new work by Pulitzer Prize winner David Lang depicting the life of American composer Aaron Copland.

The National Releases Sixth Album, TROUBLE WILL FIND ME

According to Pitchfork.com, The National have announced details of their sixth studio album titled, 'Trouble Will Find Me' set to be released today, May 21 via 4AD. The album was recorded at Clubhouse in Rhinebeck, NY, and was self-produced, with mixing by Craig Silvey, Peter Katis, and Marcus Paquin. The album will be released digitally, on CD, 180gm vinyl, and in a limited edition deluxe boxed vinyl set. It follows 2010's High Violet.
