Hulu will premiere the new documentary “Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas.” An intimate look at performances of the band’s chart-topping hits during their current “Mercury Tour” and archival interviews, Dan, Wayne, Ben and Daniel recount the evolution of the band, from where they started to where they are now, the highs and the lows.

“We Live Here: The Midwest” explores timely, personal stories of LGBTQI+ families who strive to build lives in their communities despite biased legislation and mounting prejudice. All families must confront challenges, every day. But many also face a rising tide of discrimination and hate in their churches, schools and even their own neighborhoods.

Beginning March 18th the long running off-Broadway hit, Naked Boys Singing, will truly be celebrating the male form in all shapes and sizes.  Joining the previously announced David Hernandez (American Idol), is Dom Giovanni (He/Them) making their off-Broadway debut.

After a record breaking twenty one year run Off-Broadway, and a recent highly publicized Las Vegas residency, producers Tom D'Angora and Michael D'Angora are bringing Naked Boys Singing back to New York City at the newly renovated AMT Theater.  Proving, once again, that clothes do not make the man, the production will begin performances March 18th and play Saturdays at 6pm.

Olney Theatre Center announced it has hired Hallie Gordon as Senior Associate Artistic Director and T. Pope Jackson as Director of Production. Gordon takes up her duties as of November 15, and comes directly from Kansas City Repertory Theatre where she was most recently Director of Artistic Development.

In homage to Carter, the album's producers, Morgan Matthews and John Wyatt Johnson, have released the independent album on all streaming platforms. Carter's first album in six years, Blacklisted was recorded over a 12-month period, beginning in November 2021.

Aaron Carter, a singer with credits both on and off-Broadway, has passed away at the age of 34. According to reports, he was found dead in his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday, November 5th.

Rescripted is thrilled to announce the third session of The Key: Young Critics Mentorship Program, September 25 a?" December 4 and hosted for the second year at Steppenwolf Theater, 1650 N. Halsted. Regina Victor, founder of the online arts journalism platform Rescripted, and entertainment critic Oliver Sava created the 10-week training program for Chicago youth in arts criticism. In league with The Chicago Inclusion Project, The Key has successfully held two sessions, educating young writers on the skills and industry knowledge needed to pursue careers in arts criticism. Alumni of The Key have written for outlets like Chicago Reader, Howlround, The Windy City Times, and Rescripted. 

BET Networks and Tyler Perry Studios announced today additional series regulars for Perry's second original series for the network, 'SISTAS.' Chido Nwokocha, DeVale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Kevin Walton, and Anthony Dalton join previously announced cast KJ Smith, Ebony Obsidian, Mignon Von, and Novi Brown. 'SISTAS,' follows a group of single black females as they navigate their complicated love life, careers and friendship through the ups-and-downs of living in a modern world of social media and unrealistic relationship goals. Premiering this fall on BET, the one-hour drama takes viewers on a roller coaster ride of emotions and hilarious moments that are the epitome of #squadgoals. Principal photography for 'SISTAS' is underway at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
