AVI SCHER & DANCERS presents a program of six pieces, including three World Premieres and two New York Premieres, on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 8pm at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College.

Tony nominated director RANDAL MYLER will direct a staged reading of GREED! THE NEW MUSICAL. Presented by THE 92ND STREET Y in conjunction with KELVIN PRODUCTIONS, GREED! tells the story of Jonathan Arnold, a young earnest professor from the Midwest who has been tasked to raise a large, but failing New York company's stock pricewithin forty days.

What The World Needs Now?The Music of Burt Bacharach will take place at Kaufmann Concert Hall, 1395 Lexington Avenue, New York, Monday, May 18. Jill introduced the Bacharach/David pop classics I?ll Never Fall In Love Again, Knowing When To Leave and Whoever You Are I Love You. MAUDE MAGGART, the critically-acclaimed chanteuse - hailed as 'bewitching' by The New York Times, 'utterly enchanting' by the New York Post and 'stunning' by the Los Angeles Times - will return to THE OAK ROOM of THE ALGONQUIN HOTEL for a six week engagement from April 14 - May 23.

The New York Pops presented Once Upon a Time and Tomorrow: The Best of Charles Strouse at Carnegie Hall on Friday, April 3 at 8:00 PM with conductor Martin Yates. This concert was a tribute to the Tony Award-winning composer of Annie, Applause and Bye Bye Birdie. Accompanying The New York Pops were guest artists Gregg Edelman, Debbie Gravitte, Rebecca Luker, Karen Mason, Emma Rowley and Eric Jordan Young.
