New York: On the heels of her recently released CD, "Torched," acclaimed singer Lynne Halliday returns to the Laurie Beechman Cabaret Theater with her dynamic new show, _Let Yourself Go_ for four special dates only in May (12, 19, 24 & 26) with renowned musical director David Brunetti. The new show is directed by MAC and Bistro award winner Barry Kleinbort. Frank Wagner is on bass. There will be a $12 music charge and a $15 Food/Drink minimum.

The Laurie Beechman Theater is located downstairs at the West Bank Caf at 407 West 42nd Street (at 9th Avenue.) Convenient parking lots are available between 9th and 10th Avenues on West 42nd Street. Reservations: (212) 695 6909.

The eclectic song list is comprised of tasty gems from a wide spectrum of the American songbook such as, "Everybody Says Don't," "Sway," "My Night To Howl," "Cockeyed Optimist, "I Don't Want To Know" and "Begin the Beguine" along with many surprises that set this show apart. Following a theme of letting go of people and things, Ms. Halliday touches on a variety of emotions from how to behave ("Nice Little Girls") to letting go of lost love ("Crazy") to encouraging others to let go ("Express Yourself"). Along the way, she discovers how necessary and liberating it can be. She also reveals a lot of self discovery about how hard it can be to let go of those certain inner voices that dictate the right and the wrong ways to behave. It is a sincere journey of discovery and freedom that is compelling, funny and absorbing under Mr. Kleinbort's skilled direction. As with all Ms. Halliday's shows, she has once again chosen an eclectic, intelligent and winning list of special songs.

Lynne Halliday's previous credits include, starring in The York Theater's hit show, "Porterphiles," a well received musical revue of unpublished Cole Porter songs. She also appeared as "The Voice" in American Ballet Theatre's world premiere ballet, "Weren't We Fools?" choreographed by Christian Holder. She has performed at several cabaret venues in Manhattan including Danny's Skylight Room as well as at the 92nd Street Y, the Guggeneheim Museum and The Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center. She has also become a regular at The Laurie Beechman and is proud to return for this very special evening.

Ms. Halliday was born and raised in Montreal, but fell in love with New York and the theater thanks to her beloved and quite fabulous Manhattan-based grandmother, Luba, who would take her to a Broadway show every year on her birthday visit to the city.
