Connor Wentworth is a New York–based playwright and theatre artist originally from coastal Maine. Their work explores queerness, memory, family, grief, power, and the complicated ways people attempt to survive one another. Blending intimate realism with non-linear structure, heightened theatricality, and a strong visual sensibility, Connor creates plays that live between the personal and the unsettling.
Credits include THE CIRCUIT: An Immersive Silent Disco Ballet, QUEER BAIT,*SANCTUARY: A New Musical, The Destination of This Train Is (a brief inquiry into online relationships), Resting Place, and Blue Neighbourhood. Connor's work has been developed and presented Off-Broadway and Regionally through New York Theatre Company, New York Theater Festival, Rogue Theater Festival, Euphoria Theatre Company, Greenhouse Theatre Festival, and other independent stages and developmental readings in NYC, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, and Portland.
