An Award winning Entertainer originally from Jacksonville, FL where he graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Fresh off the heels of the Broadway hit ‘Kinky Boots’ tour in Australia James is excited to return as headliner in Windborne’s ‘Music of Michael Jackson’ Symphony Orchestra tour headlining as the late ‘King of Pop’; Michael Jackson.

James honed his craft in New York City where he currently resides; formerly a principal in the Broadway hit Aida in the role of (Mereb); James has been described by Sir Elton John as "Great" and moved the late Peter Jennings to exclaim "Man You Rock!" he starred on Broadway in "Smokey Joe's Cafe" playing the role of James (Victor). He was also featured in the original Broadway hit musical "Ragtime" in 1998 and played (Max) in the original Andrew Lippa’s “The Wild Party”

Dubbed one of the top MJ tribute Artists in the nation; James is a 5-octave countertenor who sings most of MJ’s songs in their original recording keys, not only does he sing the Music of Michael Jackson, he also takes on the moves of MJ near perfectly adding his own signature style.

He was titled ‘The Entertainer,” by Mr. Las Vegas and won a 1 million dollar production contract to perform at the Las Vegas Hilton on an international TV show with over 19 million viewers.

James is often described as a cross between Michael Jackson, Terrence Trent Darby, Lenny Kravitz, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Timberlake… ‘Bringing you piercing, powerful vocals, live band production, innovative dance moves and undeniable stage presence. His soul sublime and frayed original music is where classic quality meets edgy rock and southern soul style.’
