It takes a lot of cajones for a 26-year-old singer to title her cabaret concert NOSTALGIA, but then not many singers have already gone through what Eva Noblezada has.  From her childhood being a MexicAsian (as she calls herself) in San Diego to her two Tony nominations in her adopted hometown (the show is subtitled: A LOVE LETTER TO NYC), Noblezada goes through everything with her audience at this Audible-produced concert, to the point where she wonders out loud if maybe she shouldn’t share so much.  She is still young.

Zane Carney (“Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark,” John Daversa’s GRAMMY Nominated Album “Kaleidoscope Eyes”) and Ashley Griffin (“Trial,” “Forever Deadward,”) will collaborate on the upcoming musical WITCH HUNT – a reimagining of the Salem witch trials set against the backdrop of the American political system. Griffin will pen the book and lyrics with Carney writing the music.

Shane Scheel and his live show production company For The Record Live has found their new Hollywood home in The Bourbon Room. With their official re-opening, featuring Shoshana Bean, an impressive success (obvious from the love and applause flowing forth from The Bourbon Room audience.), FTR will follow up with be a concert from Alisan Porter (August 1st), and their new and improved production of TARANTINO LIVE, now TARANTINO LIVE: FOX FORCE FIVE & THE TYRANNY OF EVIL MEN (beginning August 5th). The first-ever New Works Virtual Festival kicks off tonight! Every evening from December 5th - 25th of 2020 at 8PM EST/5PM PT, the New Works Virtual Festival will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) as well as an 21st (a 'Christmas Special') featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members.

The New Works Virtual Festival will stream 20 new non-musical scripts every day from December 4th - 24th of 2020 (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. A 21st piece will be selected from holiday-themed submissions to be streamed on December 25th.

Casting has been announced for the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center's production of the iconic musical Hair. Under the direction of Kate Sullivan with musical direction by Jared Stein, there will be two preview performances on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, at 8pm. Opening is set for Friday, March 27, at 8pm in the Davidson/Valentini Theatre. The regular performance schedule will be Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm through April 26.
