BIO
An actor and singer, Tom Rhoads is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan in Theatre and Communications. He continued his training at London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Theatre credits include Algernon in the Roundabout Theatre’s presentation of The Importance of Being Earnest on broadway at the American Airlines Theatre starring Angela Lansbury as Lady Bracknell, directed by Michael Wilson (2019). He played the duel roles of Armand and Paul Durand-Ruel in the York Theatre Company’s new musicals production of the new musical Monet (2018) and did the cast recording of the show. He played Buddy in The Last Session (2010) at St. Clement’s Theatre, and J. Hapgood in the RADA production of Anyone Can Whistle at George Bernard Shaw Theatre, in London (2016). 2014-15 he was part of the "Blithe Spirit" North American tour. Recent film credits: Buttons starring Angela Lansbury, Dick Van Dyke, Robert Redford, Kate Winslet, and Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Recent television: Quantico, Pan Am, Royal Pains and Madame Secretary

Grammy Award winner Tori Kelly, Grammy Award winner Colbie Caillat, folk-pop musical group Us The Duo, and more come together at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, December 5th to perform at Christmas with Tim Janis & Special Guests, a benefit concert for the Forever Young Foundation's music therapy initiative Sophie's Place, which provides music therapy facilities built in children's hospitals and Kate Winslet's Golden Hat Foundation, which celebrates and fosters awareness of those living with autism. The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical Monet, with music and lyrics by Carmel Owen (Asylum: The Strange Case of Mary Lincoln), and book by Joan Ross Sorkin (In the Theatre). Monet will play two performances only on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
