Theatre Now New York has selected 10 finalists to be presented in its SOUND BITES ELEVEN Festival of 10-Minute Musicals. The festival will take place on May 6th at 7pm at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center.

Ted Bushman, composer of HUMAN and Theodore in the Valley, has released a concept album of eight songs from his musical Cyrano Électronique.

On Friday, November 12th, Jeff Whiting, Oyoyo Joi, and Ted will bring 'Human' to The Green Room 42. Too often, we denigrate our ancestors by thinking of them as brutal, sexist animals -- barely people. But HUMAN shows us that the innovation, community, and deep love of music we pride ourselves on comes from those ancestors.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will host more than 120 outstanding theater students from colleges and universities across the nation as part of the 44th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 16-21, 2012. In January and February of this year, these artists from eight regions presented their outstanding work and were selected to travel to Washington, D.C. for an expense-paid trip to participate in National Festival events taking place at the Kennedy Center.
