Welcome to Weimar Berlin, but not as you know it. The brand new queer, revolutionary musical Fury and Elysium comes to The Other Palace Studio this summer, celebrating and placing centre stage the lives of three iconic Jewish women: writers, political revolutionaries and artists.

What did our critic think of A TALE OF TWO CITIES at Cavod Theatre? A most unique experience was had at the Cavod Theatre. This family-centered Christian organization develops shows to not only support their ministry, but to provide opportunities for the community to come together and support one another. A Tale of Two Cities took an interesting approach that I had never seen before. The director uses local community members to support a handful of professional actors. In doing so, the audience members get both sweet performances from young talent as well as powerful moments from experienced artists.

It must have been said at some point in history that the course of lesbian love never did run smooth. Jules is vivacious and unconventional, whereas Juniper is thoughtful and quiet. Lustful glances across a noisy bar leads the pair to embark on a fiery relationship, learning to love and trust each other even when they don’t want to.

Stephanie Martin’s Juniper and Jules will open at Soho Theatre 3 May, and run until 14 May, with press night 5 May with direction from Bethany Pitts.
