The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Neal Street Productions, in association with Hera Pictures, have announced casting for the world-premiere of Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti and directed by RSC Acting Artistic Director Erica Whyman.

Bell Shakespeare¬†has announced further cast members for its upcoming production of¬†Romeo and Juliet,¬†the first full production to be presented in the company's theatre¬†The Neilson Nutshell¬†at Pier 2/3 at Walsh Bay Arts Precinct from¬†23 June ‚Äď 27 August 2023, with a two-week season at the¬†Arts Centre Melbourne¬†in the middle, from¬†14 ‚Äď 29 July 2023.

Bell Shakespeare has announced its 2023 season, with three new productions touring throughout the country. To mark 2023 as the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's First Folio, the company will stage new contemporary retellings of plays from the Folio, Macbeth and Twelfth Night, the latter featuring all new music by Sarah Blasko.
