Review: A COMMEDIA ROMEO AND JULIET at Faction Of Fools Theatre Company

Commedia dell’Arte was a theatrical style that developed in Italy more than 450 years ago. Intended for the lower classes, with exuberant physical movement, improvisation, lots of masks and stock characters like the Harlequin and Pulcinella, it was a celebratory perfect for the carnivale circuit.

Review: THE SCHOOL FOR LIES at Constellation Theatre Company

Constellation Theatre Company's production of David Ives' 'The School for Lies' is a witty, rollicking farce, reimagining Molière's 'The Misanthrope' with modern sass and plenty of surprises. The cast, costumes, and set design all impress, making for a delightful experience from start to finish.

BWW Review: UNDER THE SEA WITH DREDGIE MCGEE at 1st Stage

The magical, whimsical world of Dredgie McGee will delight children and adults alike. Don't miss this wonderful romp under the sea.

1st Stage Announces UNDER THE SEA WITH DREDGIE MCGEE

Under the Sea with Dredgie McGee is a delightfully kooky, innovative production, sure to take you to a magical world far below our own. A splash of the 'Muppet Show', 'The Tonight Show', 'Pee Wee's Playhouse', and 'Pirates of the Caribbean', blended with a touch of macabre (á la Tim Burton), this vibrant and unique theatrical event is designed for ages 8 and up (so bring the family!).

BWW Review: MYSTICISM & MUSIC at Constellation Theatre Company

Despite a solid slate of talent both on and off stage, Constellation Theatre Company's latest production just misses the mark.

BWW Review: CRYSTAL CREEK MOTEL at Flying V Theatre

Follow the doings of individuals who come in and out of a motel where the room itself and those who clean it are the only constants.

Arts on the Horizon, a non-verbal theatre company for children ages zero to six, is excited to present its 7th season. BWW Review: Skillful and Fun THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH at Constellation Theatre Company

THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH at Constellation Theatre is a thought-provoking, skillfully-rendered reminder that chaos and uncertainty are not unique to our time or to any single time. In the sure directorial hands of Mary Hall Surface, Thornton Wilder's masterpiece is a wild time-traveling, allegorical tragicomedy, without the Pepperidge Farm and Hallmark overtones we've now come to associate with the OUR TOWN playwright.
