Commedia dell’Arte was a theatrical style that developed in Italy more than 450 years ago. Intended for the lower classes, with exuberant physical movement, improvisation, lots of masks and stock characters like the Harlequin and Pulcinella, it was a celebratory perfect for the carnivale circuit.
Constellation Theatre Company's production of David Ives' 'The School for Lies' is a witty, rollicking farce, reimagining Molière's 'The Misanthrope' with modern sass and plenty of surprises. The cast, costumes, and set design all impress, making for a delightful experience from start to finish.

The magical, whimsical world of Dredgie McGee will delight children and adults alike. Don't miss this wonderful romp under the sea.
Under the Sea with Dredgie McGee is a delightfully kooky, innovative production, sure to take you to a magical world far below our own. A splash of the 'Muppet Show', 'The Tonight Show', 'Pee Wee's Playhouse', and 'Pirates of the Caribbean', blended with a touch of macabre (á la Tim Burton), this vibrant and unique theatrical event is designed for ages 8 and up (so bring the family!).
Despite a solid slate of talent both on and off stage, Constellation Theatre Company's latest production just misses the mark.

THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH at Constellation Theatre is a thought-provoking, skillfully-rendered reminder that chaos and uncertainty are not unique to our time or to any single time. In the sure directorial hands of Mary Hall Surface, Thornton Wilder's masterpiece is a wild time-traveling, allegorical tragicomedy, without the Pepperidge Farm and Hallmark overtones we've now come to associate with the OUR TOWN playwright.
