This endearing play about a working-class family in England during the Blitz of WWII is, at turns, hilarious, romantic, moving, and inspiring; a celebration of life in the midst of the destructive forces wreaking havoc in the world.
Jeff Goldblum is in talks to join the Wicked movie as the Wizard of Oz. He could be joining Ariana Grande as Glinda, Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero in the two-part film adaption of the hit Broadway musical. The films will be produced by Jon M. Chu, who also directed the film adaption of In the Heights.
Marking the directorial debut of actor/writer AJ Jones (The Game, Lovecraft Country), with a story co-created by Jones and Florida native Daniela Gonzalez (Frenemies), the film also stars Luciana Faulhaber (Shades of Blue), Patrick R. Walker (The Resident) Najah Bradley (Black Box) and Gillie Jones (Mr. Frost), who makes her feature film debut.

Carnegie Hall today announced that acclaimed clarinetist Sharon Kam has agreed to step in for Martin Frost, performing on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. in Zankel Hall with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Artistic Director Richard Tognetti. The program, which remains unchanged, features Ms. Kam performing Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A Major. The chamber orchestra will also perform the New York premiere of Water, a new work by Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood, along with Haydn's Symphony No. 83 in G Minor, 'The Hen,' and Prokofiev's witty piano miniatures, Visions fugitives, Op. 22, arranged for orchestra by Mr. Tognetti and Rudolf Barshai.
