Now, over two years later, in Steven's memory, Karen Nascembeni and Bill Hanney present a one night only benefit reading of Nate Bertone's new play The SeaView Nursing Home for the Newly Deceased, hosted at North Shore Music Theatre on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 7 p.m.

After announcing this year’s list of Carbonell Award nominations last Friday, the organization quickly realized that clarifications and additions were necessary. This invariably happens with any complicated, first-time process, so the nonprofit organization ordered a recalculation of the scores in all 20 categories.

Penguin Rep Theatre held its annual fundraising gala on Saturday September 10 in Stony Point. The 2022 honorees included Edie Falco, the multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winning actress, and stage manager Michael Palmer, who has overseen 20 productions for the Stony Point-based nonprofit professional theatre in Rockland and New York City.

Penguin Rep Theatre announced today the Off-Broadway premiere of Mr. Parker, a new play written by Michael McKeever and directed by Joe Brancato. Performances will begin Wednesday, June 1, 2022, for a limited engagement through June 25, 2022, at Theatre Row – Theatre 1 (410 West 42nd Street). Opening Night is Monday, June 6, 2022, at 7:00PM.
