Kenneth “Ken” Williams, who wrote/co-wrote over 500 songs, including the classic R&B hit “Everybody Plays The Fool,” died June 17, 2022 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York announced his wife, Broadway actress/singer Mary Seymour Williams.

Today’s subject Kenny Seymour is currently living his theatre life being immersed with the Motown Sound as the Musical Supervisor and Arranger for the US National Tour of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations while still serving as the show’s Musical Director on Broadway. The touring version can be seen through January 16th in the Opera House at Kennedy Center. Coincidentally, the show closes on Broadway the same day.

Hair co-creator James Rado (Grammy-Award Winner) and Hair original choreographer Julie Arenal (Broadway/West End) will join over 35 tribe members to celebrate Pride with a special Hair reunion musical performance during the event.
